Ambassador Fatimie attends reception in honor of National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain

December 14, 2011: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie attended a reception in honor of the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the Imperial Hotel Okura.

Ambassador Fatime took the occasion to wish H.E. Ambassador Dr. Khalil Bin Ebrahim Hassan his sincerest congratulations on the noble Kingdom’s auspicious anniversary as well as, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, heartfelt gratitude for the support that the esteemed Kingdom has provided towards peace building and development, particularly as a close ally and a key member of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.

Among the Japanese dignitaries in attendance, Ambassador Fatimie had the honor to meet with H.E. Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Kazuyuki Hamada. Ambassador Fatimie reiterated his foremost appreciation for Japan’s enduring and impactful support, including cultural support to a number of important projects. Furthermore, the Ambassador hailed Japan for offering to host a conference on Afghanistan next year, as announced at the recent Bonn Conference. Other guests met included Hon.
