Friday, October 30th, 2009: Ambassador Hakimi spoke at the Symposium on Humanitarian Assistance organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador Hakimi's speech touched on the success and challenges of Afghanistan over the last 8 years.

Other distinguished speakers included Madame Sadako Ogata of JICA, members of the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
