Mr. Alex Mejia of UNITAR calls upon Ambassador Hakimi at the Embassy.

January 22, 2010: Mr. Alex Mejia, head of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research Hiroshima met with Ambassador Hakimi at the Embassy. The two discussed possible areas in which UNITAR could contribute to Afghanistan’s development. UNITAR has already been contributing to the nation through its involvement in capacity building.
