Mr. Agah Attends the Reception for the Primary Course of the Global Peacebuilders Program at United Nations University


Global Peacebuilders Program

January 23, 2019: Mr. Agah, Second Secretary for the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo, had the pleasure of attending the Reception for the Primary Course of the Global Peacebuilders Program at United Nations University.


The Global Peacebuilders Program was established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA). The Primary Course itself, operated by the Hiroshima Peacebuilders Center, provides seminars and workshops to individuals who wish to build their careers in the fields of peacekeeping and development. Through these seminars and workshops, program participants will develop skills crucial to the fields of peacekeeping and development such as exercising leadership in a multinational team.


Mr. Agah extends his appreciation to the delegation for the invitation to the reception and shares his hopes for those participating in the program to have an enriching and informative experience in learning practical skills and knowledge concerning peacekeeping and development.
