Dr. Mohabbat together with H.E. Mr. Herzberg, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, present an invitation to the Japanese Foreign Ministry for the upcoming Bonn Conference

June 22, 2011: Dr. Bashir Mohabbat, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, together with H.E. Mr. Stefan Herzberg, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany met with Mr. Masashi Nakagome, the Director of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Second Middle East Division, Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau at his office in Tokyo.

Having thanked Mr. Nakagome for his dedication to his department and Afghanistan since his appointment to his position in April of this year, Dr. Mohabbat and H.E. Mr. Herzberg requested that he kindly forward their initial invitation to attend the Bonn Conference in December in Germany to H.E. Foreign Minister Takeaki Matsumoto. The official invitation from the organizing authorities of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Federal Republic of Germany will delivered in September.
