Ambassador Fatimie meets with Mr. Hotz of the Embassy of the United States of America.

Febraury 14, 2012: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie welcomed back to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mr. Raymond Hotz, first secretary of the Embassy of the United States of America. Dr. Bashir Mohabbat, Deputy Head of Mission, and Mr. Jason Pratt, Public Affairs Officer, represented the Afghan mission in the meeting as well.

Ambassador Fatimie opened up by expressing deepest gratitude, on behalf of the people and the Government of Afghanistan, for the United States’ invaluable and unsurpassed support in development, peace, and security. The Ambassador stated that such a sustained relationship would cultivate the best prosperity for both partners in terms of a long-term, strategic partnership.

During the meeting, the Ambassador discussed the upcoming Tokyo Conference on Afghanistan and additional issues of mutual interest.
