Ambassador Fatimie attends the National Day Reception of the Republic of Kosovo

February 17, 2012: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie attended the National Day Reception of Republic of Kosovo at Hotel Okura in Tokyo.

Being warmly received by H.E. Ambassador Sami Ukelli, Ambassador Fatimie extended sincerest congratulations on the auspicious occassion, declaring that the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, as the first country to have recognized the Republic of Kosovo’s independence, has a special interest in the positive progress of the Republic and the success of the people.

Ambassador Fatimie also had the honor to meet with H.E. Ambassador Abdul-Rahman Humood A.R. Al-Otaibi of the State of Kuwait (pictured in the first photo below, on the right); Hon. Representative Natsuo Yamaguchi, Chief Representative of the New Komeito party (pictured in the first photo below, on the left); and Professor Isao Iijima of Matsumoto Dental University, former Chief Executive Assistant to the Prime Minister (pictured below, bottom photo). To all three esteemed individuals, all hailing from nations within the international alliance for peace and prosperity, Ambassador Fatime expressed deepest appreciation for their nation's and their respective support to the Afghan people and Government. The Ambassador further met with representatives of the Japanese government, police force, and private sector.
