Engineer Alizai, Ms. Imanishi meet with representatives of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry

March 2, 2012: Engineer Ahmad Shah Alizai, Commercial Attaché, and Ms. Namie Imanishi of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan’s Trade and Investment division met with the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (JCCI’s) International Division’s Mr. Takashi Okamoto, Manager in Chief; Mr. Imai, Senior Expert, and Ms. Marie Makabe. The meeting was held at the JCCI’s headquarters in Tokyo.

Engineer Alizai and Ms. Imanishi discussed a number of issues with the group, including the upcoming debut of an Afghan company, Nijabat Haidari Co. Ltd., at FOODEX JAPAN 2012; Afghanistan’s quality products and their potential to receive greater attention in the Japanese market; and the abundant natural resources in the nation.
