March 19, 2012: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie attended the opening ceremony of “Kuwait Cultural Days in Japan” at Tokyo Midtown. The event was organized to showcase the culture of Kuwait, which has been an impact-generating contributor to the ever-increasing relations between the Islamic nations and Japan.
Ambassador Fatimie congratulated H.E. Ambassador Abdul-Rahman Humood A.R. Al-Otaibi of the State of Kuwait on this important and impressively organized initiative. As a great supporter of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and its Embassy in Tokyo, the State of Kuwait was lauded by Ambassador Fatimie, who expressed deepest gratitude for the assistance to Afghanistan’s peace and development.
Among many distinguished attendees, Ambassador Fatimie was also able to meet with Mr. Isao Iijima, former Chief Executive Assistant to the Prime Minister (pictured below).
