Dr. Mohabbat, Mr. Pratt meet with Dean Stronach of Temple University Japan.

March 23, 2012: Dr. Bashir Mohabbat, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo; and Mr. Jason Pratt, Public Affairs Officer; made a courtesy visit to Dean Bruce Stronach of Temple University Japan (TUJ).

TUJ has been an outstanding supporter of the Embassy’s activities and capacity in Tokyo, having provided educational opportunities to staff, created an internship program together, and supporting a number of events. Dean Stronach personally has also been a key supporter, with, among other activities, having provided personal assistance to an upcoming sports festival in Afghanistan to be organized by TUJ student Mr. Evgeny Latypov.

In the meeting, Dr. Mohabbat and Mr. Pratt expressed great appreciation, on behalf of Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie, for TUJ’s generous support under Dean Stronach’s guidance; Dr. Mohabbat then presented the Dean with a letter of appreciation. Dean Stronach in turn generously expressed his institution’s determination to continue to foster the strong ties between the two organizations.
