March 24, 2012: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie attended a lunch hosted by H.E. Ambassador Bobozoda Gulomjon Jura of the Republic of Tajikistan (pictured above, furthest to the right) at H.E.’s official residence. The event, which lasted from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm provided an excellent venue for Ambassadors of a number of nations and distinguished Japanese guests to interact and discuss topics of shared interest.
Ambassador Fatimie congratulated H.E. Ambassador Jura on the organization of this excellent event, and expressed gratitude through the H.E. Ambassador Jura to the people and Government of His esteemed nation for the role that their enduring friendship extended to the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Among the excellent guests in attendance, Ambassador Fatimie had occasion to meet with H.E. Ambassador Rysbek Moldogaziev of the Kyrgyz Republic (pictured furthest left), H.E. Ambassador Sergei Rakhmanov of the Republic of Belarus (pictured above, second from the left); Director Masaki Ikegami of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Central Asia and Caucasus Division, Director Tetsuya Yamada of the Japan International Cooperation Agency’s (JICA’s) Central Asia and the Caucasus Division, Mr. Kenji Takahashi of JICA’s task force on the Technical Cooperation Project on Kabul Metropolitan Area Development; and Mr. Dan Harada of the Liberal Democratic Party.
