Ambassador Fatimie offers condolences on the passing of H.E. former President Ben Bella of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria

April 18, 2012: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie visited the Embassy of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria where he signed the book of condolences for former President Ahmed Ben Bella.

In his message, Ambassador Fatimie expressed condolences over the loss, remembering the former President’s impact on peoples the world over.

On behalf of the Government and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, I would like to express my deepest condolences on the passing of H.E. former President Ahmed Ben Bella. A leader and an inspiration both domestically and worldwide in the self-determination of peoples, he is greatly missed.

Let us take solace that his legacy will live on through this esteemed Embassy.

My prayers go out to H.E.’s family, and to the people and Government of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
