Ambassador Fatimie attends reception in honor of the visit of H.R.H Prince bin Saud, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in honor of the annual meeting of Their Excellencies the Saudi Ambassadors of the Asia Pacific region

April 23, 2012: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie attended a reception organized hosted at the Imperial Hotel by H.E. Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz A. Bin Almas Turkistani in honor of the visit of H.R.H Prince Khalid bin Saud, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in honor of the annual meeting of Their Excellencies the Saudi Ambassadors of the Asia Pacific region.

A very important ally and the custodian of the two Holy Mosques, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the wise and generous leadership of H.M. King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, has been a core supporter of peace developments in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Taking this important opportunity, Ambassador Fatimie thus expressed, on behalf of the people and Government of Afghanistan, deepest and sincerest gratitude to H.R.H. the Prince for His nation’s and His noble family’s indispensible assistance. H.R.H. Price bin Saud responded by kindly assuring continuing cooperation, and further expressed happiness and satisfaction with the plans for the upcoming Tokyo Conference on Afghanistan.

Ambassador Fatimie further expressed gratitude to the noble kingdom to H.E. Ambassador Turkistani, additionally mentioning the great appreciation felt for H.E. Ambassador Turkistani’s personal friendship. Ambassador Fatimie then congratulated H.E. on the excellent coordination for the 14 visiting Excellencies and the significance of holding the meeting in Japan.

Among other esteemed dignitaries, Ambassador Fatimie was also able to speak with Hon. Councillor Teruhiko Mashiko; Hon. Representative Atsushi Oshima; Hon. Representative Kiyohito Hashimoto; and Ms. Noriko Suzuki, Regional Director of East Asia for the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority.
