H.E. Minister Mohammad Masoom Stanekzai, Presidential Advisor
H.E. Minister Stanekzai, in his interview with NHK, expressed appreciation for Japanese support for national reconstruction through vocational training. In order for this training to play an important role in the social reintegration program for former Taliban combatants, H.E. Minister Stanekzai insisted that “vocational training alone would not be enough, and it should be combined with another national program which could create jobs.” Concerning U.S. war strategy on Afghanistan, he emphasized the necessity of strengthening coordination between U.S. troops, local authorities and Afghan National Army, in order to prevent bombing errors. |
