Jalalabad To Extend According To Master-Plan

July 2011 (Bakhtar): In order to address the needs of the growing population of Jalalabad, plans are underway to construct a new Jalalabad city.

In a meeting earlier this month between H.E. Dr. Sultan Hosian Hesari, acting Minister of City Construction; H.E. Mr. Mohammad Asif Rahimi, Minister of Irrigation and Agriculture; Hon. Mr. Gul Aqa Shirzou, Governor of Nangarhar; and Engineer Mohammad Yosof Pashtoon advisor to the president of Constructional and Technical Affairs, Mines and Energy, the details over the layout of the new city were discussed.
