Western Union, Roshan eye mobile money transfer

February 27, 2012 (Reuters): Telecoms operator Roshan, in a partnership with Western Union Co., is now allowing its 5.8 million users to register for a mobile payment system (called M-Paisa). Many of the 1.2 million registered users now receive their salaries through this. The service will now allow, among other new features, subscribers to receive remittances from abroad on their mobile phones.
