English | 日本語 Paktia to Get 30 More School BuildingsGARDIZ, June 19 (PAN): At least 30 primary schools will be constructed in southeastern Paktia province with a total contribution of $1.5 million from the Education Ministry budget. Engineer Mihrabuddin Shafaq, Education Department Director in the province, relayed that the project includes 10% local contribution, and the school buildings will be constructed in capital Gardez and 13 more districts of the province. Foundation stones of a number of school buildings have already been laid. The new buildings are to have 8 to 14 classrooms and offices. Local councils will be involved in payments. Juma Khan Hamdarad governor of the southeastern province said on the project: "We have determined to establish the education sector in Paktia and develop it." |
