Education Ministry to Improve the Educational System

KABUL, January 31 (Quqnoos)

The ministry of education is planning to solve the problems in Afghanistan's educational system in the coming year. The minister of education, Farooq Wardak, said in a six day seminar with the education chiefs of all the provinces that the ministry will solve the educational problems by increasing the teachers' capacity, implementing the new salary laws and taking advice from religious scholars and tribal elders.

The ministry of education says it will increase the number of teachers' training centers to fulfill the need for more teachers.

He said the local shuras (councils) and the religious scholars will make their efforts to open the schools which were closed by the government's opposition forces last year.
