Russia Food Aids Land in KabulKABUL, March 14 (Quqnoos): A Russian plane loaded with humanitarian aid materials landed in Kabul airport as the first-ever humanitarian donation from Russia in the last three decades. This is not only humanitarian aid but a strengthening of bilateral relations. The Chief Consular in the Russian Embassy, Mr. If Gini Closh, explained that Russia has sent forty tons of food supplies and another fifty containers will soon be delivered. The deliveries were set up by the UN World Food Program. The Ministry of Agriculture said the aid consists of flour, wheat, medicine and clothing. The Russian official said that his country will continue supplying humanitarian aid in the future. |
