Kabul, September 1, 2004 - One day before the first anniversary of Radio Killid, Kabuls only private talk radio station, an additional one million citizens picked up its expanded signal at 88 MHz FM from an FM repeater on top of Kuhi Asmaye (TV Mountain) in the center of Kabul.

Radio Killid Kabul, which was established by Internews last year, is now estimated to reach over 2.8 million people throughout Kabul and nearby districts of the province. Previously the signal could be heard only in parts of Kabul City.
